Stars on the walls. Designed by British designer Anna Perring, these earthenware Luna Lights follow all our dictates for successful lighting. Indirect and casting a soft glow, while spotting the wall with "stars" of light, these are striking and soft at the same time. According to Anna Perring:
The aim was to create lights that would look right in a very modern space but that would be more organic and feminine. The patterns of light they scatter across a room have the quality of fairy lights and fireflies, which were a magical kick start to this project.
We think she succeeded. Available at Luna Lighting is her complete line, including tea lights, oil burners, and lamps in porcelain finish. The cube lamps start at 199 Euros. (via Gnr8) MGR

199 euro's!
By all that is holy buy yourself set wooden or metal boxes and and 2nd hand powerdrill. For that price and some spare paint you ought to be able to MAKE a dozen of those for that price.
I made a lamp similar to this, except the lamp itself was quite unconventional... it was a cheese grater shade! It looks great!
It creates a very similar effect. I first saw the lamp at the Houston Contemporary Arts Museum Shop for around 90 dollars...
Went to IKEA and a hardware store, made myself one for about 30 bucks and a lot of hard work. Apoxy glue and wire cutters are your friend!!
