Tough love. We love New York Magazine. Not only have heads rolled and asses been kicked, it has had a facelift and been reinvigorated as the go to magazine for city events, culture and happenings around town. It has a lot of info you want AND a good cover story each week. Their maps are getting better too.
This week they have a good map of Atlantic Avenue for anyone who wants a ready reference when taking a stroll out there looking for furniture. They have listed a healthy dose of furniture shops, from Bark to Butter to Town & Country Antiques. It is just a shame that there still seem to be some missing like Rico, Layla, and a mess of antique stores along the north side of the street like Olde Good Things. Come on, you know we want you to be better, so we can be better... MGR

Is there a connection between New York Magazine and Time Out? They are constantly running articles on the same subject in the same week. Once it was a guy living in a camper in one, and a guy living in a bus in the other. This past week they both had articles for how New Yorkers can deal with 4 more years of Dubya.
The numbers on the map don't match up with those in the text. Oops.
