I am wondering if anyone has good/bad things to say about products from
Sleeksofas.com or Modernsofa.com
Some of their sectionals are very close to what I am looking for and there prices are much lower than the italian options. Is it too good to be true?
If anyone has any other options for slick modern blocky sectionals I would love to check them out.

While we haven't had any experience with either of these stores, you will get what you pay for. Sleek Sofas looks a little cheesy, their prices are way too low. Modern Sofa is much nicer and their prices are good, but don't raise questions. We would trust this one if their customer service and swatch program were in fine order. (Thanks, Todd!) MGR

Oh NO! I just found this site and read all the postings and am now quite worried about the sofa I ordered in December. Please someone tell me that they actually got what they ordered. I am sick with worry. Help me someone, please.
Sleek sofas should be called slick sofas as in scam artist I hope there are enough people to try to recoupe some of the losses experienced as a result of doing business with them. They do not even answer their phone or e mail now and I am sure they are running off with everyone's money now or seeking to scam others I have been burned by them and am out 2k in this case you do not get what u pay for u get nothing. for almost a year now I am trying to get the company to at least provide the merchandise paid for.
Guys, i have also been scammed by sleeksofas. I ordered in jan, and after 15 different excuses, the latest one is that the furniture is being held at customs for clearance and they can do nothing about it.

I've been dealing with sleeksofas for about a year now.
I orginally ordered my sofa on November 19, 2006...I have just recieved it!!! (October 28th, 2007- almost a year).
Sleeksofa is horrible, I have not heard from the company in about three months...In the last email, i received a waybill number to track my shipment. I attemped to track it online, but the sofa seemed to be lost in space, again!!!
I finally got intouch with the shipping company and after about another month of waiting, they actually delieved my sofa...I just can't beleive it!!! As you know these sofas are paid in full upfront, but the delivery company came to the door with a $450 COD. Needless to say I was really pissed. The shipping company ended up working it out and told me the COD was a mistake. I wish i found this site earlier, i thought i was the only one sleeksofa was trying to screw.
I am technically still waiting for a discount check of $150 from Sleeksofa...I'm not holding my breath.
Even though it's been a whole year since i ordered my sofa, I'm actually happy to have recieved it at all. Now i just have to figure out what to do with the sofa i bought in the meantime =)
Good luck to you guys!!! I wish there was really something we could do to put a stop to these people. (I've already filed two complaints with the bbb).
For Sleek Sofa's I have a direct contact number for Alex Garcia. The number is 866.753.3576 extension 86. Also, 909.782.5899. I wouldn't do business with these people. I found a better company called Stendmar in Ontario CA. They actually have a verifiable warehouse that you can see the furniture.

Sleeksofas imported sofas from China, in fact it is ShangriLa. All messes of sofa like delay, bad quality are from ShangriLa. ShangriLa delayed, then Sleeksofas delay, but when ShangriLa made mistakes, Sleeksofas didn't refund you guys. Finally Sleeksofas established it production line in China, but now it is closed. Who know where is Alex now?
