Mix it up. These are old favorites of our, having grown up with them, but we had completely forgotten about them until Tom jogged our memory. Arcoroc Glass Nesting Bowls:

These bowls are amazing. They seem very durable, and they stack wonderfully.

Some people don't want a 3 pack of bowls that are of different sizes, (see pyrex) but just a handful of medium ones and a handful of large ones. I'm sporting 4 of the 6.5" ones and getting 4 of the 10" ones and thus far i'm quite pleased.
