This is just to say.... That as we were passing Tompkins Square Park these last few mornings, we noticed that THEY DELIVER CHRISTMAS TREES. So, in response to Michael's question of over a week ago, YES, here is a source for you if you live anywhere near there. (Photo: Ralf Grote) MGR

Mike is correct, TreeSleigh.com has moved from Seattle to Yakima, WA. If you live in the Yakima Valley, we are now available to deliver and set up your Christmas tree for you!
However, we have partnered with a new Christmas tree delivery company that IS operating in the Seattle area called "The Christmas Tree Experience". You can visit their website at www.xmastoyou.com.
I also have to sympathize with Mark Host. We have been delivering Christmas trees since 2004 and the first year was extremely difficult. We had a LOT more orders than we had anticipated and had to act quickly to make the necessary changes. The second year, we were much better prepared with 3 vans, 3 employees, and figured 1 hour per delivery instead of 30 minutes. Now, we are pros and have smoothed the process out to where it's actually enjoyable for us. However, a phone call should always be made to the customer if a tree is going to be delivered late or not at all.
There is no standard business model for Christmas tree deliveries and being the first in the US to perform this service professionally (not just a guy with a truck), we had to learn how to streamline the process from scratch.
All - I wanted to provide a great resource for NYC residents looking to purchase a live/fresh tree and have it delivered to your door.
Tyler's Trees NYC has trees starting at $99 and includes home delivery, set-up, tree, tree stand and tree skirt. We do all the work while you watch and enjoy your Christmas.
