The Designfenzider: Ron Gilad

Outside the box. This is a very interesting and odd little site, that showcases the work of Ron Gilad. Sold at MOMA and The Conran Shop, Gilad - a New Yorker - is having a ball asking questions about form and function and getting stuff built.

Our favorite pieces are the multi task lamp ($2700), simple little Lamp #16 ($210) and the table with the lamp going right through it. Gilad's work is humorous and elegant at the same time, but not necessarily for everyday use. This site only whet's our appetite, and we would like to see Mr. Gilad when he really let go... MGR
