Sunny, gentle, and 58 degrees... Andrew Revkin of The Times says we've made it through the April Pause, apparently a predictably anomolous temperature trough in early April. Sandals and skin will be out again today, and this warms our heart as did the news that New York's "Bureau of Waste Prevention, Reuse and Recycling" is getting some overdue attention. Maybe they should hire Louis Freeh. Whatever else his faults, I'm sure he could make glass and plastic recycling stick. -OHR
