Mod from the heartland. Joe Kunkel heads up Jet Set Modern in the Chicago area, but maintains a one-man army when it comes to the rest of the country. Jet Set is a store, a magazine, a classifieds resource, a consulting and real estate business - and it's all Mid Century Modern All The Time.
Worth adding to your links, Joe sells furniture at very good prices and has a good small selection. We particularly like the Moreddi Danish Modern Coffee Table for $295 and the Eames Time Life Chair for $450.
There is more and all in mint condition. MGR

i love this house....
this is my dream house.
WoW!who is the architect?I wanna meet that person!I want my new house to be as lovely as this!
love it... nice one :)
Not really my style, but it's a beautifully decorated space. Love the bedspread/blanket and the lamp in pic #3.
Yay to bostons!! Best dog's ever. And to framed wallpaper! My plan too.
Where did you get the grey blanket, and large pillows, in the bedroom, it is awesome! Thank you for a very nice presentation of your home.
love.... especially the first shot with the great artwork and furbaby.
Is that framed wallpaper? What a great idea! I wanted wallpaper but didn't think it would stick to my textured drywall, I may need to copy you on that one.
i really like the space and simplicity; every piece counts
What a serene space. I'm guessing, because of the window sill heights, that this is a below-grade unit but one that has been made airy and open. The kitchen looks intelligent and elegant without being over the top or precious.
love lack of upper kitchen cabinets, well done!
I love the wallpaper but the first two pictures are redundant. Should have included a picture of the bathroom.
So great.
Your bed is LOVE :)) And I like the colors.
It's so dark! Does your camera not have a flash??
Love the IKEA kitchen! :)
I like the kitchen!
Awesome!
My only criticism is that your dog only appears in 1 photo...
@Sam59 i believe that bedspread is from west elm (i have the same one in white)
I don't know that I'd consider Cole and Sons "Woods" wallpaper budget friendly. It's like, $200 per roll. Put it IS drool worthy and it looks rad in your space.
I'd like to know more about the birch trees.
I guess what I mean by that is how did you do it...
thanks everyone for the nice comments! liam, our boston terrier, thanks you too!
to answer a few questions:
::the gray duvet on the bed is from west elm. the pillows were made using fabric from dwellstudio (that i found for $6/yard!). there are also floor to ceiling drapes in that room made from the same fabric.
::we bought the wallpaper for $124 here:
http://www.insidefabric.com/p-753861-woods-cs-by-cole-sons.aspx
it's pasted directly to the wall and then framed with white lattice moulding nailed over it.
::omoriala--my camera has a flash, but it's broken.
::pheebs79--trust me, he tried! when he sees a camera he sits in front of it and poses.
::thorndale--"the purpose of our lives is to be happy" is a famous dalai lama quote. i'm sorry that it makes you feel sick.
we have more pics on flickr:

Wow. I love your space. I am especially impressed by your diligence in editing your stuff, since you really don't appear to have storage pieces, only closets.
Sleek!
I love the simple and clutter free design.
I love love love the quote, and this is a really great space. Incidentally, I have to chuckle (and feel a bit superior) when someone barfs cynicism all over something positive. Is the quote stenciled on canvas? I'd love to do something similar....
More dog!
