Spring color. We don't normally get excited about plastic. However, the thing about it that is really GOOD is its ability to be COLORFUL and DURABLE at the same time (and usually cheap).

2005_4_8_plastica.gifPlastica is about all of these things, and the vision behind this store has created an exceptional mini mix of stand out products from around the world.

Copy of 2005_4_8_plastica (8).jpgPlastica is "accessories, housewares, kids, office and pillows." It's collection ranges from Design House Stockholm glasses (yes, in glass) to Japanese figurines to Indian doormats to Egg Bird feeders and rubber boot for children that look like frogs. Some of this stuff you have seen before, but much is new and the intensity and joyfulness of the color in the shop is infectious.

Our favorites were the heavy, durable glasses ($6 ea) and the large rubber buckets that just were calling out to be picked up and used (@ $15). About 2/3 of their stock is on the website, but that isn't everything now, is it? MGR
