Is there going to be any way to end this peacefully?

out of curiousity? are the judges all male? i think to help people understand how the judging works, it might be helpful to get a biography of who the judges are, and where their perspectives are coming from... i think that's normal for most competitions with juries.
All you have to do is read the lil' biogrophies. Not so hard.
Nothing wrong with a little lively debate. An open exchange of ideas is the foundation of democracy.
Sometimes there are more opinions about the packaging of other opinions than the opinions themselves (those would be non-opinion-focused opinion-packaging opinions), but in the end everyone shares the common passion that brings them to the site.
And a very, very tired refresh button. =)
Call me naive, but I think part of the reason for this was that the "No Way" vote was the only one that encouraged respondents to explain. For the few times I voted that way, I didn't want to go on record why, but felt obliged to.
Not sure if this is the correct place to post this but here's my first comment on the finalists- YES! Brandon's shoebox IS chic. His was definitely one of my picks!
Off the contest topic...
Did anyone go to see the Housing Works 'Design on a Dime' show??? I'm hoping there might be a slideshow of what it was like...
One word....Thunderdome!
Oh sorry shannob, I didn't realize the juror's biographies was already posted. Thanks MGR for posting it again.
Just a heads up to anyone interested in kitchen design services by ppl like home depot, lowes etc. WSJ did a piece on their experience with various companies here www.realestatejournal.com/homeimprove/homeimprove/20050503-szuchman.html
