Loved the sofas from Built... But the Acid green couch from Bernhardt/sean Litrell was pretty amazing also... as well as that dramatic brown love seat the Italians had.

On the K Studio embroidered pillows... there was this whole trend in the past couple years at -scope art fair and The Armory Show to use embroidery as an artistic medium. K Studio's end result wins out by far ahead of the actual artists, even though K set out to create something much more functional.
(mgr-- when I saw those pillows, I remember thinking "I bet Maxwell would really like these!!)

I have to say that the best part of going to ICFF was actually AT-related... having seen so many great spaces through the Contest and house tours, I found myself "virtually shopping" for other people's homes... "Hey, Marlon would love that! Oh, that for Enrique! This would be a great accent for Paul! This would be great for Cedric's color palette/finishes! This would sit next to RR's Prouve lamp quite nicely!! Jamie pup would loooove these handles!!"

I love Stokke. I bought one of their Tripp-Trapp (now KinderZeat in the US) reconfigurable chairs for my niece when she was a baby and she still uses it and loves it.

You're noting so many things I didn't notice that I'm beginning to feel like I didn't actually attend ICFF, even though I did. Admittedly, I was there with slightly shady credentials--having failed to receive an AT press pass, I borrowed a friend's pass for the day and walked around pretending to be a playground designer.
My favorites were the little things, like the want/need glass and the freewy map tiles and Battleship napkins. And the Danish felt chairs. I don't care if felt and birds are so over--I like 'em.
And re the B Bros. dreadful chair, isn't it nice to see that even the maestros hit an off note sometimes?

Pat(too) seemed to have found an excuse for his shopaholic behavior. I only have one question, how come you didn't think about finding something to go with my white bedroom. I am feeling left out.
