Hello AT,

Any suggestions for something to clean upholstery? ...not a service, but a cleaner I could use myself ? I understand I should avoid using anything water-based, but I haven't found any specific cleaners.

My favorite fix, even for curbside rescues, is the foam from leting high pressure water land on Lestoil. Just gently rub the foam in and rub with a dry towel that has NOT had softener in the washer or dryer(it retards the absorbency). The best results come with an upholstered item that has NEVER been cleaned.
