We started drinking Pure Synergy nearly ten years ago at the suggestion of our wonderfully quirky aunts out in Venice, California. They're always calling with a new vitamin or supplement. They've since moved on to other things but we're still gulping down Synergy, mixed with orange juice and sometimes a banana, every morning. A new bottle arrives every month in the mail.
When Max was a teacher, he noticed that when he drank the green slime each day, he never got sick, a feat considering he spent his days with snotty-nosed children. I felt stronger, more svelte, and enjoy fewer bouts with allergies when I'm regularly drinking it.
You’re probably a little skeptical. So was I. And I still am. But I keep drinking it because mostly it serves as a daily ritual in honor of my health. Like meditation, prayer, flossing, a nightly glass of wine, and regular brisk walks, the simple act of doing something with health in mind, feels healthy just on its own.
What food rituals keep your mind and body healthy? skgr

so what on earth is it?
Go Lean Crunch mixed with low-fat stonyfield farm yogurt (strawberry or just peachy) every week-day morning at my desk while i read my daily blogs.
A Microhydrin capsule dissolved into a bottle of water and shaken, because it's a completely pure antioxidant which doesn't deposit and extra free radicals; pretty much one or two bottles like that over an afternoon at work. It cleans out the "rust" in your blood. You can just take it as a capsule, but I prefer it in solution.
The only bad thing about it is the way it's marketed, which is sort of Amway-style.
I take a teaspoon of Omega-3 fish oil everyday. I use Carlson's "Very Finest Fish Oil Lemon Flavor," because the taste is benign. Since taking it, I feel my skin has begun looking healthier, I don't find myself craving sweets as often, and I just generally feel better. Placebo effect? Perhaps. But I know I feel good and keep taking it.
Smoothie twice a week with fresh-ground flaxseed, Whey protein powder, Ruby Reds, soymilk and fruit. Good for quick energy when I need a jump-start in the AM.
a glass of kefir every night. vanilla flavor.
Cold cereal, 2 pieces of toast, and a glass of orange juice for breakfast every day. On 1 of the weekend mornings, go crazy and make eggs of some sort.
