Let there be light. Lately it seems that the new things that have been catching our eye have to do with lighting design. Either we are missing other things, or a tremendous amount is going on in the lighting field right now.

This sculpture of light is called Lightwave and it is by the Danish designer, Astrid Krogh. A falling tapestry of fiber optic strands, they are connected to a light projector at the very top that fills them with changing light. Huge and beautiful! (via Reluct, Thanks Joost! , and GNR8) MGR
