After admiring some pretty, large scale Mercury Glass candleholders at the store the other day I decided to look into how to DIY my own. It was no surprise to find that Martha Stewart, the queen of crafts herself, had a few great tips over on her site.

The project calls for a glass container, mirror paint, and a spray bottle with water, used before the paint to create the pretty distressed effect. You can view the step by step tutorial over on Martha Stewart, along with more images.
