Whoever decided to jam that cooktop in the corner next to the refrigerator in pic # 1 either has never cooked a meal in their lives...
...or is missing a left arm.

Well, finally. A kitchen with Bauerware! Entry 16 has cabinets full of it - they must have spent a fortune collecting all those pieces. Fiesta is the cheap knock-off, and always was.

I'm sorry, but why would one place a range in a corner? Add to that the fact that the refrigerator door opens into that corner... and you have a totally non-functional space. Put cabinets and storage space into your weird corners- not the two appliances that most of us use EVERY DAY. It's too bad, because it looks like a cute kitchen otherwise.

I vote #17- its bright, clean and airy. More than one person can be working at a time and still not feel overwhelmed. The last 4 entries actually work well with space. I like a kitchen where I can entertain, where I can cook with friends and family, and where my kids can spend time doing their homework and chatting.

Entry #16, really I just dont see how anyone can use that cooktop. Even if the fridge did not open, it would seem you still have to stand at an angle to cook... not good.

I thought #38 was cool, love the colors, but a little dark. Thick slabs seem to have caught on, and there are a few in there that I was like, Huh? And they really almost all do have a certain similarity. It's also interesting to see what a good job IKEA is doing in keeping up with what's hot...not hard to duplicate these looks using IKEA.

I have to go vote for #14. Love the three random white (stainless?) drawer fronts and the colorful counter and tile backsplash.

Forget the kitchens - I am SO HAPPY that AT finally figured out how to use the set image url command so that each thumbnail doesn't trigger an entire new page so that when it comes time to go back to the main posts, you aren't several pages away. In my book, this is a celebration!!

I like the grey tiles in the first kitchen a lot too, but really, I'm just elated over this new coding.

I happen to have been in the kitchen in entry 16 and the photo displayed unfortunately does not do it justice. It is in a historic townhouse and the view the other way has amazing custom open display cases of 1000 pieces of original Fiestaware, a lightfilled breakfast nook and (5) seven foot high divided light double casement windows. It was very tricky to preserve the windows and place the appliances. The cooktop is in the position of the original fireplace and it is not nearly as crowded as this photo makes it seem. The owner cooks all the time and we love joining her to eat there and enjoy the space.
