Q: Ok, after at least 3 years of scouring over Apartment Therapy I have finally made an account so I can ask a question that has been haunting me: Who sells the charming pom pom pillows from Jess Day's (played by Zooey Deschanel) bedroom set? I have seen numerous blog posts about miming the style but nothing showing how/where I could find something similar. I have seen the Anthropologie Sombrero sheet set and it is beautiful but I love the pom pom pillows from the New Girl set because of the pattern mixing between the striped pillow covers and bright pom pom lining. Any suggestions of where they could be from?

If you can't find them for sale, you could probably pay someone to make them for you. The pompom trim, ric rac and striped ticking fabric are pretty easy to find.
You can easilly find the trim needed for those pillows at any fabric store. Pick up some pillowcases of your choice and stitch them on yourself. I've made tons of pillows with ric rac and pom poms.
It doesn't take long, and it's super easy. Plus it's waaay cheaper to do it yourself.
