Hi AT!
I found these classic chairs on Craigslist--two for $50. Plan on upholstering them, but first, wondering if anyone might recognize the designer? I'm guessing they're late 60's/early 70s?
Thanks, Jerry...

Why would you reupholster? They look FABULOUS as is!
I don't know anything about them, but they are really great and I actually think the bright orange is lovely. The color seems to fit in perfectly with the surrounding colors in your space. I would have them cleaned if needed, but leave them as-is and maybe accessorize with a smallish rectangular pillow in an interesting pattern. Lucky find!
Those. Are. Amazing.
If I had to guess I'd say they're by Milo Baughman. I have similar chairs in chrome. These are great!!
please don't reupholster they're wonderful as is.
I also love the orange, but I can see it's a bit dirty in places. If you like the orange I would try and clean them first. If that doesn't work then reupholster. Awesome find! I'm sooo jealous.
i love them - have to say. but i would no Q reupholster - i'm a bit of a germaphobe :)
REUPHOLSTERING them? Those are awesome!!! Great find.
do not touch these chairs. we will harm you.
Wow you are so lucky to make such a find! I would leave them "as is" cause they look fabulous!
They're in fine condition - Don't Reupholster.
I agree...don't reupholster, have them cleaned. The orange is wonderful! If you really feel like you need to do something to them, I would consider removing the white paint...then it's your choice, stick with the metal or paint another color. Good find!
Those are gorgeous - I also think you should keep the orange upholstery.
they have a grete jalk feel to me but with a 70's update (the boxy frame in white). is there a jon france and sons or john stuart label?
Only thing I know is I want them! As is will be fine.
