How do you store children's books? We were struck recently by how difficult it can be for pre-readers to find their favorite books when they are shelved spines-out on bookshelves, and thought that perhaps the Buy Magazine Holder by Anne Krook might solve the problem. Stocked with books instead of magazines, this 34" oak and plexiglass shelf would let children find their favorites via the cover art. Since the shelf only extends out about 3 inches, these wouldn't take up a lot of space in a room, and mounted at child height, make for practical storage. Of course, wiping fingerprints off of the plexiglass might be a pain in the neck, and the $171 price point isn't for everyone, but we do love the idea of displaying the covers of picture books like wall art.
