I had a very successful trip to IKEA this past weekend. Armed with my large blue IKEA tote bag and fortified by a frozen yogurt cone, I was able to hunt down (almost) every item on my list. Want to know what I purchased?
Raskog kitchen cart. A new item that we hadn't seen on our last IKEA outing. The Raskog is made of steel with nice gray epoxy coating. It's a great storage piece for art supplies or small toys. $49.99.
Barbar trays. I have several of these trays and picked up another this weekend. They come in handy during craft time - fingerpainting and play dough is easy to clean up using these trays. $6.99.
Sommarvind freezer bags. These are perfect to stow snacks for a long car trip or a picnic lunch. $12.99. (Disclosure: I didn't actually end up buying this freezer bag because they were out of the pattern/color I wanted).
Rens sheepskin. These well-priced sheepskin rugs are a great way to add a soft play spot on a hard floor. They're also great for cozying up a chair or bench. $29.99.
Lialotta plastic fabric. IKEA's version of oilcloth is a staple in our house. Sold by the yard, I buy it in pieces large enough to cover my dining table. Just remember to keep a few extra yards in the house and you'll never have to worry about messy kid projects. I love the black and white polka dots but other colors are available. $7.99/yard.
