You can experience stellar examples of Los Angeles’s modern residential tradition this Sunday, October 2nd when the MAK Architecture Tour showcases significant homes designed by Schindler, John Lautner and Gregory Ain.
You can learn more about the MAK Center and read a great interview with MAK's Kimberli Meyer Here.
The self-guided tour features structures that are not otherwise open to the public, so it should be very cool. (Call 323.651.1510 or email office@makcenter.org for tickets.)
Thanks for the great tip, Enrique!

LA people! If you've never gone on one of these walking tours (the LA Conservancy-Modern Committee often hosts similar tours, too), I can't recommend it enough. These private homes are completely OPEN to all of those on the tour. It's a rare chance to see these iconic beauties, and experience them firsthand. And it's fun to chat up the other folks on the tour who have a similar passion for LA architecture!
