You know, in Italy the Agip Gas stations/Rest stop food places use ceramic dishes. You sit at a table to eat your food. If we could just make this idea cool...
My local Whole Foods is using something similar at the salad bar. The containers are made from bulrush fiber, and are compostable, microwavable, etc.
That's really cool. Most of the time we use ceramic dishes, but for camping, picnics and take out this is ideal. That's awesome that it's mircowavable. I wish my local deli had this.
There is also www.worldcentric.org, they are in Palo Alto CA and do the same types of products including corn cutlery and cups. I've used them that my daughters school events and the kids think its fantastic to compost.
Oh, hurray, it has passed the stringent "Green/Not Green" barometer of MrGreen. I can sleep at night!
