Re-Do. As designers, we love watching others tackle the design process and we're happy to see a new SketchPad feature from The New York Times. SketchPad asks an architecture firm to theoretically redesign a property on the market. It is one approach in making the most of a space and realizing true potential. As with all SketchPad features, the slideshow is integral. Don't miss it!...

This home has tons of potential and we're liking the ideas from Peter Pennoyer Architects. By reaffirming the symmetry of the original structure, they've made a small house live large on the immense lot. While the pool is extravagant, it refocuses the structure and makes the large stretch between the house and shack a living space.

If you missed it the first time — a previous SketchPad.
