Congratulations! What a warm and inviting room. Once your baby hits a few months, though, changing will not be so easy on a table that doesn't have barriers. Just something to consider--we often just change our daughter on the floor!

Cute, I like the clothesline. I disagree with jjpp - I had a changing pad just like that one on top of a dresser. Never had any trouble changing him, just always kept one hand on him if I had to turn away to grab something, etc. When he got too wiggly, I switched to changing him on the bed. And once he could walk, forget about it, I got skilled at changing him on the run. You really only need a changing pad for the first 2 months (when the diaper changing is constant) in my opinion.

Take the shredder out of the room!!! Very unsafe!

I disagree with jjpp also, I have the exact changing pad just plopped on top of a rescued dresser. I've used it with all three of my children without barriers and without trouble. Nobody has taken a tumble. I'm tall, I'd HATE to change my baby on the floor (or bed) or somewhere else.

nicolej, I don't think that's a shredder, I think it's a printer. Calm yourself. :o)

All of that to say, this room doesn't seem very small! I don't have room for a rocking chair, a table, AND a crib in my nursery... hmmm, maybe I should enter.
