We don't really know what to think about decorating with money. A money Christmas tree one day, and a chandelier the next? But if you don't trust the banks, and you're looking for a money storage option that is more chic than the mattress, this might be for you. At least you'll be keeping your cash where you can see it.

For now, Stuart Karten Design chandelier is conceptual, which is probably a good thing.

Don't trust the Banks?
What is this - March 1933 again?
it might be.
They should go further and start upholstering sofas and chairs with money. It would make for great social commentary.
Is this actually legal? I mean, we don't own the actual bills, only their symbolic value, normally the bill as an object belongs to the State...
Fun for a poker game!
This is just vulgar.
blah blah blah... everything on AT is considered vulgar by at least one person.
Not so much vulgar for me, as uh.. cheap.
Well done, neat well portioned shape and so very smart to curl the bills to create the texture. Then of course the soft light that paper creates is very pleasing. Forget about the money as a symbol. It isn't a Christmas tree or a baby's diaper. People here please grow up with your self righteousness.
It's a conceptual rip-off from the sculptor Johnny Swing. Here is Johnny's nickel furniture, he is truly inventive and the most beautiful sculptural furniture.

I think this would actually make a cool light fixture if you were to use pieces of solid-colored paper like red or orange. The US Dollar itself is rather ugly though, and as far as being a "statement," i don't quite see anything creative going on.
Definately not as cool as the old Lincoln town car covered in pennies that used to drive around our town.
No, no, no.
