Oh mah geez. This makes me want to pick up and move to Louisville (something I never thought I'd say), if these are the sort of spaces available (I'm guessing for a much more affordable price!). Really lovely. I am not usually a fan of those shades of yellow and orange, but you have utilized them well. Very quietly chic and modern.

Very subtle and warm. Love the combination of the orange lampshade against the sunny yellow wall. The red glass pendant lamps also pop nicely in the space.

This comes across to me as a very sophisticated use of color. The window frames being almost the same color as the walls make it almost seem like you are floating in space and gives your fantastic view that much more of a punch. You've managed to make this a very warm space while keeping an industrial edge. very well done!

I love this. Very tastefully done. My favorite part of this entry is the way the yellow and orange on the wall only go up to the top of the windows. You can tell that a lot of thought has gone into putting this space together.

But in a larger sense, it pains me to see that much brick, cement, and wood painted over instead of worked with--why would you treat such distinctive materials like nothing but textured drywall?

Beautiful, but it's another entry that looks like a television set to me. This one would make a great set for a Bravo reality competition on dinner party-throwing. Not necessarily a bad thing, it just looks so studied and perfect and design-y.

with so much beauty happening outside, this is one of those places where you should have left the walls white and without much distraction imho... the window views would be colorful enough. joy and color could have happened in the furniture then. and the color choices are bit on the safe side (trying to avoid words like bland and boring). and yet, it's a beautiful house. and i envy you.

Well thought out and planned color theme. Not bold by any means. This isn't a contest-related comment, but I find that there is way too much vertical and horizontal lines (hanging lamps, exposed pipes, window trim, long counters and dining table) and not enough round (mirrors) in this space, which makes it a bit cold for me. Huge fan of exposed ceiling though.

GEORGEOUS! Love it! I don't even care that I recognize where most of the furniture comes from. It's all being used in such refined, way. Perfecto!

The colors work, but I logged on to disagree with Whatizthat's “lack of round/too many vertical lines” comment. I personally was struck all the items that added movement- the mirrors are round, the painting on the opposite wall has a circle, the pattern on the chair has circles, the round lights in the foyer break up the horizontal lines of the wall, and that CB2 screen with the random pattern all contribute to, at the least, an attempt to break up the lines of the space. Tough thing to do in such a striking, linear space. Nice work.

Formal, modern, yet colorful - inspiring, and is there any room in Kentucky for me, too? Really wonderful pendant lamps over dining table. Diverse material from natural (granite, blown glass, rich woods) unite with modern hard edge (steel, plastic chairs, high gloss floors) in a surprising complexity.

Jason~ your loft is inspiring-- your point about wrapping the space in a continuous color is well demonstrated. I love how you added colors in blocks to define areas. Please list your paint colors....your yellow and the lighter orange/butter-scotch in particular, though I like the dark grey too, whatever you can give me. i usually hate yellow but that color is very nice. It all works together very well.
