Ok, so probably I'll never have a bathroom that looks like this... but it's ok to dream, right? From the breathtaking to the just-plain-bananas, here are ten bathrooms that are completely out of the ordinary.

Above: taking a bath in this cathedral-like bathroom, from Elle Decor via Sanctuary & Style, would definitely be a surreal experience.

This jaw-dropping bathroom is in a converted attic in a Los Angeles home. Spotted on Lonny.

This bathroom from Marie Claire Maison has it all: a fireplace, a giant freestanding tub, and a shower that gloriously sprays water from the ceiling. Seriously luxurious.

This scale of this bathroom seems positively modest compared to some of the others... but the marble tub surround definitely sets it apart. From Milk Magazine.

Speaking of marble... this bathroom, from a Paris apartment spotted on Sketch 42, is covered in it. There's also a built-in velvet banquette next to the tub, I suppose for relaxing and drinking champagne while you wait for one of the servants to draw your bath.

This bathroom, in a New York townhouse by Steven Harris Architects, has an open shower. Oh, and a moss carpet. And a tree.

A Palm Springs (of course it's Palm Springs, where else would this bathroom be?) home spotted on Domaine Home.

The beatiful bathroom of a West Village townhouse, spotted on Desire to Inspire. Just the window is enough to make it dreamy — but then there's that gorgeous sink.

And finally, this art-filled, 80s-inspired bath from a Paris home spotted on Domaine Home. It's a bit much... but I can't help loving it anyway.
