Wool blankets are a classic bedding accessory that should be in everyone's home. Besides being incredibly warm, they're dirt resistant, flame resistant, very durable and can last years upon years. Forget about scratchy army-style wool blankets (which I actually keep in my car, just in case), here are some great, graphic and stylish wool blankets to keep you warm.

Shaw's Original Fir...
HBC Multistripe Point Blanket = Love.
Some of these are pricey! I bought a Masai Wool blanket from the tribesmen in Kenya. It was 14. Boy am i glad I got it - the colors are just spectacular.
The listed price for #9, the MacAusland blanket, is almost double what MacAusland actually charges on their own website (I suppose because Toast is a UK merchant). I have the blanket pictured on my bed, and I love it, though it's quite narrow (if I had a boxspring, it would be a little TOO narrow).
Actually, it's a lot more than double with the conversion from Canadian dollars to pounds! Yikes! All the more reason to buy from MacAusland themselves!
I love the pattern on the Easterly blanket (#10). Absolutely gorgeous! If it were in the cards financially, I would love it.
@KAYONYC, $14 and the cost of a trip to Kenya. I'm sure it's gorgeous though (the blanket and Kenya), and I am jealous.

I have a couple of these washable wool blankets from Room & Board, and they are great! Very cozy, and great for layering in cold weather.
I want the green velvet pillow shams pictured in the IKEA photo but can't find them on their website.
I got a gift of one of these blankets made in Rhode Island from local sheep - it's a fantastic blanket that shows no signs of wear after two years. They sell out every year, but I'm sure there are lots of other places like this in New England:

Hahah, is it hilarious that the Hudson's Bay Company blanket is available from LL Bean???
Yeah, I love those green velvet pillows. Might have to hit up the fabric store soon to see if I can't put together a set for myself.
Wool blankets in late March with the weather we've been having is a most curious choice for a post.
@SFGIRL - LOL I was going to post that same link, been eying one for a while and they are SO soft.
What sort of luck have people had very gently hand washing some of these that don't list as "washable"? These are beautiful, but I don't want to buy one that must be dry-cleaned.
In may family a traditional gift for special occasions is an heirloom quality wool blanket from the Norwegian company, Røros. They are magically cozy, versatile and the colors and designs are beautiful.
