Whether you're reading, getting dressed, lying in bed daydreaming, or something a little bit more, ahem, serious, lighting can make a huge difference in the bedroom. Especially if you've been living with nothing but an overhead light, try one of the living room lamps by the bed or check out some of our favorite options right here:

Now these are just our favorite table lamps, and haven't even gotten into pendant lights, sconces or...spotlights.

I am surprised there is not a Glass Ball Lamp option. They are so classic and chic.
I have Fado in a dark corner of my cube at work, and I get so many compliments on it. I see Fado a lot in the home pics on here, and am surprised it's not cited more as a staple of modern design for work & home.
I'm not a bedside table sort of person, so I use a standing floor lamp or Ikea's weeble wobble lamp, Jonsvik.
I have a fado but not as a bedside lamp. I don't think it would give good light to read. I prefer lamps where you can direct the light. I personally have two small Tolomeos and think they are great.
where do i find that nice shade with the bauhaus table lamp? on the website, it only comes in black and white.
OOPS i was looking at the wrong lamp. sorry.
I, too, have Fado in my cubicle at work. It is in the back corner, behind my monitor. Everyone loves it - especially me!
I covet the Noguchi from R&B, but don't forget to check out overstock.com.
These are fantastic. I also love the Seaside Lamp from Thumprints If you haven't seen it, you should. It is perfect for a bedside table.
