Online retailers are getting in on the Black Friday/Cyber Monday game, meaning you can still scoop up discounted wares while never getting out of your pajamas.

DO NOT shot at Overstock! Everything I've ever bought from them was defective right away or broke within a matter of weeks, and processing returns is a nightmare. They seriously make EVERY return so difficult, calling you multiple times a day to make statements, they once accused me on the phone of not actually being me.. (?) They are simply a nightmare & sell defective merchandise you will never be able to return.
If you're looking for great quality area rugs, Rugs Direct is having a huge Black Friday Sale. http://bit.ly/Y9Xckm
You couldn't pay me to battle the Black Friday masses and quite honestly, I resent the attempts by advertisers to entice me out of my pajamas on this rare treat of a day. I rarely purchase online and then ONLY IF there's a brick & mortar within driving distance, with a living, breathing customer service rep I can approach face-to-face in the event something goes awry. A hard learned lesson.
That said, I always peruse BF sales online for upcoming big ticket purchases as well as those I know will remain on my dream list for the time being. I use the BF sales as a plumb line for these items. Results vary but not significantly. I find that those BF deals can generally be had throughout the year if one is diligent.
Hey 007. Yer not as slick as you think you are. Just sayin...
Sheesh...half the responses here are poorly disguised spam. Ha, do y'all really think the members here are as ignorant as you are? Really...go waste your time somewhere else.
I, too, have had excellent shopping experiences at Overstock. A long time ago their return policy was difficult, but I've had no problems in recent years. I get more compliments on my dining room chandelier than any other single item in my home ... and I purchased it at Overstock for $40.
I'v had excellent return experiences form Overstock as well. I explained my situation(s) and was immediately given over to a higher up, who apologized for the bad experience(s) and was offered a full refund, no questions asked.
Not sure if this matters or not, but both times (or was it three?) I used the chat online UI and was very, very happy with the results. Just my .02¢.
I had two chairs that were in the same box and only one was broken. They let me keep both chairs and sent two more for free. Sorry you had a bad experience.
