It's no secret we love books. For me, reading kids books isn't just an enjoyable activity, but also an exercise in slowing down for a moment to be present with my kids. My one-year-old already understands if she wants some time with dad all she needs to do is waddle up to me with a book in her hand. So given we're reveling in our love of books this week, why not indulge ourselves with a list of books that pay tribute to books.
These are just a handful that either sprung to mind, or reside on our bookshelves. What others can you think of that celebrate the transporting power of a book, or the pleasures of reading?
