Shaw's Original Fir...
I picked up a few of the gro planters for myself for multiple uses: laundry hampers, drink tubs for bbqs (fold down the sides, fill with ice and add bottled drinks to keep cold!), recycling bins ...
they've worked out great!
Sigh AT... Wish you would click on your own links... Item #1 is for one sham only. No quilts are even available. Not online anyways. Knew it was too good to be true!
I love the gro planters, but would also have used them for drinks at a party.
But, we don't shop at Urban Outfitters, do we, kids?
why not RajOne?
Oh man, one sure way to tell it's sold out is to post it on Apartment Therapy.
i wish the quilt wasn't sold out. it would've been a great deal. what a tease!
this is a great idea for a weekly post!
There are lots of reasons not to shop at UO. Most notably the owners are basically right wing extremist, who use their money to combat the very people they make money from. Less political though, they blatantly steal others designs, with plenty of examples littered all over the internet.
If you really object to Urban Outfitters but still want that little pill light, ModCloth.com sells it too.

1. West Elm is bad about misleading clearance items - if the price seems to be too good to be true its cause it is - you won't be buying a $10 quilt from there EVER
2. I love when people get all political boycott pseudo 60's power to the people cause we are too yuppie - if you boycott UO then you need to boycott Anthropologie, Free People, and Terrain - and any other company, parent company etc that you don't agree with
ps - i love this as a weekly post idea!
@Malita Jones - I agree. It's a matter of personal belief, of course, but my time is too precious to be used making lists of every company with politics I don't like. If you stuck to that list, you'd probably never buy anything or eat.
When I created the post, the quilt was in fact in stock.... I even ordered one :)
oh I absolutely feel the opposite way, it's worth it to support ethical businesses and not darken the door of the others. it's not that hard to listen, read and pay attention when you find out about bad business practices. blood diamonds, sweatshops, child labor etc. are all based on our spending habits. there used to be a great website called buyblue.org which made the lists for you. fascinating - Best Buy is liberal and Circuit City is conservative, for example. Costco is blue and Sam's Club is red (being Wal-mart).
Then I suppose those of you who oppose shopping at URBN's companies refuse to shop at one of the biggest Republican contributors in the retail game: Target.
you can spend hours on this site http://www.goodguide.com/ to help you navigate everything from ethical to most healthy choices - happy hunting
good to know. while many companies have issues, I happily boycott/avoid right wing-nuts and bigot fundamental religious LGBT-phobics (such as Salvatory Army). not too much time or effort to be minimally informed about your footprint.
