I actually bought the alphabet trays to spell "memory" and added them to a photo wall that goes down my basement stairs. They look great, fresh, and were certainly inexpensive!
almost bought the 2 of the donut tea towels for just under $10 but when the shipping was calculated it was $23! How could 2 fabric teatowels ship for $23...as cute as they are I couldn't bring myself to do it.
Great roundup that I might use as some stocking stuffer inspiration. Thanks for posting.
Stream13, where are you shipping to? Shipping for me was $4.95. If you're not in the US or if you're in Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico, it's going to cost more.
Pi - It's true :) I'm in Canada so International shipping is always more expensive but...I still don't quite see something that could go in a manilla envelope as costing quite so much. We have a local Crate and Barrel so I'll have to see if they still have some in store.
Stream13 I agree 100%. The shipping will "dirty"the deal.
While sick and bed rest, I searched the various mail order sites for gifts... I did buy,it's out of my system now. An expensive $ lesson.
Now,I'm checking the "free shipping" they are advertising. They have realized we need a break.
Stream 13.. We want you to have a donut cup towel; you have the lead on comments ! :)
So, here is an idea. "Martha Stewart "has cloth friendly acrylic paints to draw your own donuts onto a plain cup towel. Drawn an odd number and larger donuts on the towel. Not even a perfect circle. This could be a project for a child too. Keep us posted. Still, will not cost you $23.00
