how cute is the lettuce one??
96oz bucket of Sun brand oxygen cleaner, free from grocery store after using up the oxygen cleaner.
I keep it in my freezer which eliminates the odor and the annoying insects that like to breed in kitchen compost buckets. Freezing also helps the waste compost faster.
I have the first one - it's fantasic with the carbon filter
Sam, that doesn't make any sense... how does it compost if it's frozen? I thought composting relied on heat?
Jezebella, sorry I guess that didn't make sense! After the bucket is full I take it out to the compost pile. It composts more quickly because the cell walls have burst in the freezer.
Sure, they look nice, but why spend $40 on a glorified bucket?
You spend $40 on a glorified bucket because it looks nice.
i have an ice bucket from goodwill that does the trick. unfortunately, we don't have a garden so it just goes to waste.
I've been in the market for a compost bucket, but I just can justify spending so much money. They cost more than my actual compost bin!
