  2. Fitzu: Based out of Los Angeles, Fitzu is an online gift shop specializing in modern, high-end finds. Shown: Playsam Xtreamliner Wooden Cab, $55.
  3. Pop Deluxe: John and Amber Westerman run Pop Deluxe, a fun-to-browse website and gift shop in Madison, Wisconsin. Shown: Large Cardboard Rhino, on sale for $25 (reg. $58).
  4. Rotofugi: This Chicago toy store focuses on urban — i.e. artsy — vinyl figurines for kids and grown-ups. Shown: 2.5" Kozik Potamus, $6.
  5. Our Children's Gorilla: This Swedish design group creates "home accessories, children's deco and toys" — it's the kind of stuff you won't see everywhere else. Shown: Streamliner and Aeroplane Hangers, $19 - $26.
  6. Romp: This well curated web shop is one of our favorites — it has a wide range of children's items that adults love, too. Shown: Out and About Bottles, starting at $22.
  7. Kari'kter: Located in San Francisco, Kari'kter is half design store, half toy shop. They carry artwork, lighting, decor, books, and toys, including Babar, Tin Tin, and other children's classics. Shown: Wall with Tin Tin artwork.
  8. A+R: This Los-Angeles shop is a designer boutique with a good sense of humor and plenty of gadgets and toys. Shown: Miller Goodman's Shapemaker Wooden Blocks, $74.
  9. Pomme: Based out of Brooklyn, this store carries children's products, but the aesthetic is definitely stylish and modern and there are plenty of things for adults to covet. Shown: Woodlands Puzzle, $15.
  10. Fred Flare: A well-known source for tschotskes and gadgets, Fred Flare is the place to go for novelty products that are cool enough to actually buy. Shown: Lego Digital Camera, $75.
