Taking the cable knit throw idea to another level, I just picked up a couple of lampshades that were covered in a cable knit fabric from Target. Super fun and funky, and they add a really nice warm glow to the lamp light.
Pottery Barn offers another throw that's even better than the one listed above. It's cable-knit on one side, faux fleece on the other. COMFIEST.BLANKET.EVER.
I have the Ursula throw from IKEA and I love it. My husband is actually napping with it as I type.
If you know how to knit, it looks like the person selling the the one in the picture is selling the pattern for it too. I don't in fact know how to knit, so I guess I'll have to find someone to do it for me LOL.
