We know that a designer name on an item is not necessarily a slam dunk indicator of a good gift but there IS a reason why you'll recognize many (if not all) of the names from the following group of ten designers. They all have a distinctive style — from colorfully quirky to downright beautiful — and produce items that have an eye on quality; always good things to look for when choosing a present for someone special. Love Bitossi. I own a couple of vases of theirs but from the 60's (?)

I love this ideas- every single item is bright and something special, I would be uber happy with one of those gifts.
Gifts on a budget under $100? My gifts on a budget are much much lower than that! I guess I am just not keeping up with the Joneses here!
Geez, I have fair sized collection of vintage Bitossi. Currently, it's packed away in bubble-wrap in the attic. I should have liquidated it to help pay for my new furnace.
