I personally try to stay away from wreaths with those fake berries, red or otherwise. Eventually the plastic shell will crack revealing the white styrofoam underneath.
I can really see adding feathers to #1. It would look fab.
The exterior of my house is adorned with large grapevine wreaths wrapped in white lights. Simple, natural, and lasts for years.
@Miller8786 the cheap ones will, but if you invest in quality ones they last forever. My wreath I purchased from Pottery Barn on clearance after the holiday. It's gorgeous and cost $13 at the end of January.
Terrific variety and price range, thanks! ... I l like almost all of them. Good ones to look for during post-holiday markdowns! ;)
Some of these will hold up much better than others, even if soted carefuly in the Perfect Box.
I like them all in the right environment, the prices not so much. I made a 3'+ wreath from wisteria vine wrapped with white lights 15 yrs ago which is still going strong. It's impressive centered above two banks of windows on the front of the house.
I also made a pinecone wreath (#9 above) which is almost as old & has held up equally as well. If asked, I would have said painting it red would look chintzy. Now I'm thinkin a leaftover can of red spray paint would make my pinecone wreath pop against my teal door.
Thanks for the inspiration.
