The West Elm panels really aren't under $20.Each panel is $20 and they don't come in a set. So really, $40 but they're still really nice.

Bummer! The Marimekko shower curtain isn't available on-line because it is a clearance item. It's normally $60, so that would certainly be a find in store if you have one local. I don't. :(

Yea and just about all the desk accessories from Restoration Hardware are sold out.

I know in this particular case the layered rugs are to display the different ones available, but have to say that I'm just not enjoying this enthusiasm for rug layering. It just looks icky and wrong.

West Elm rugs, in my experience, are awful. I'll never buy another one from them again!

This isn't the first post where they use items that are no longer for sale. Perhaps everything did sell out because of their article but given how many times I've run across the issue on AT I don't think it's a one-off poorly done article.

I bought the Marimekko shower curtain on clearance back in December, along with the matching towels and teal rugs. Everything was on clearance then, so I was able to redecorate my boys' bathroom for a steal. I've noticed in the past that the items listed on these posts are usually sold out, so I think AT posts after the sales have been going for a while. (Either that, or AT's readers buy it all). :)

Pretty sure items sold out because of the article. Clearance items/Final sale items are usually not in great quantities unless the item is fugly.

Our apologies for the sold out items. All items ARE still available when we make the listings. We do have a great pull here at Apartment Therapy and one thing we don't have control over is knowing exactly how many items they have left in stock.

@Sarahrae - thank you for the response and Inapologise for my comments. I guess all the items sell out since I'm a few hours behind where AT is located. I check it first thing in the morning but if people have a few hours jump then that would explain why a lot of items sell out before I even wake up.

AT does a great job finding unique items, just disappointing to miss out on them :)
