I love the vines! It gives the porch some privacy. What kind of vines are those and how do you do that?? Are proch is so empty and boring and it would be cool to do something different than just the flower beds that everyone has.
That looks like confederate jasmine or star jasmine. Same plant, different names.
It's always been my dream to have a front porch, & 5 years ago, I finally got one!! I have coffee on it every morning when it's not freezing. Love the pictures!
It is jasmine, it's blooming now and really incredible - I will try to send in a new pic. As for how I did it, it was one $12 plant about 2.5 years ago and as it grew I wove the shoots around the metal railing....easy
I love, love, love our front porch. We live across from a park so we have a lot of greenery to gaze at. Plus, we get to be social with our neighbors as they walk by.
