My god, I think we're done with the iPad stands. Everytime I open Google Reader I am bombarded by posts about iPad stands. I think it's time to stop!
I agree. Not everyone bought an iPad, guys!! I don't have an iPhone, iTouch, iPad, iPod or any of that stuff.
Yeah I along with the rest of the world feel the same way as you guys. 90% of the content on this site has become Apple, Apple, Apple. It's too bad, cause there's some good stuff mixed in there. I still monitor the site for awesome tours, DIY amps, DAC reviews, etc... But in order to get to it you have to sift through mountains of yuppie iPad/iPhone posts.
I have an iPad - got the new one on Friday as a matter of fact, and I think it's useful info. I've been looking at this device since it came out for home automation purposes. Traditional systems range from $1000-$1500 per wall mounted touch screen. At $500, this thing opens up a world of possibilities, not to mention no more wiring, kitchen recipes, a better, fuller featured logitech harmony replacement, and can also replace your digital photo frame/ceiva if necessary.
Docks just highlight different applications of the product - one of which I think is underserved is the horizontal wall mount.
Late to the iPad stand discussion but...
