Okay, we admit some of these homes, while housed in a container that could potentially be mobile, don’t actually do a lot of moving. But others do. Some of these are just concepts not yet in practice. Others are ideas for moving just one type of room (say, a kitchen). They all inspire us to live a little smaller and less cluttered though, and remind us that home doesn’t have to be something that stays in one place. So if you’ve been thinking about setting off on the road this summer not just to escape a stressful lifestyle, but to escape a stationary house, consider the ideas and inspiration from these 10 homes:

The first airstream is so lovely. That would be a nice way to camp! My parents had an airstream-esque trailer when I was growing up, which they sadly sold. I would have loved to get my hands on it as an adult. I also love teardrops of all kinds. I’m planning on getting one to pull with my MINI Cooper. :)
Perfectly timed post, as my husband finally convinced me to buy a trailer. I don't think we'll be investing much into it, but I welcome ideas to make it seem like, well, less of a camper.
i JUST wrote a post about this same kinda thing.

I would love to get my hands on a vintage Airstream to live in and a teardrop to camp with. I'm in a very gypsy place right now.
Wow these are the ultimate in small spaces! How do people keep their possessions from moving around when traveling?
