I find most of these really.... ugly.
My favorite idea is the wall quilt behind the couch. What a great way to display a beautiful quilt. Although, if I were displaying a historic or vintage quilt, I would not hang it with clippy things like the picture illustrates - it's bad for the quilt. I'd make a mounted removeable pole (like a wide curtain rod) covered in padded muslin and drape it over that. No clippy marks, no stretching, no pulling, no creases (it's how many museums hang quilts). Plus, how fun would it be to change displayed quilts every few months? Saves wear and tear on the quilts and livens up the living room!
