Having recently seen the Tim Burton exhibit at The MoMA, I wondered how his dark sense of style might influence the home? Sure he's Gothic, but there's also a tough of whimsy and playfulness. And it's clear he loves stripes, polka dots and all things black & white.
Without knowing what Tim's real home looks like (if you're reading this Mr. Burton, we'd love to do a Tour) here are a smattering of rooms he might gleam inspiration from. We're hoping you do the same.

I get a headache just looking at these pictures...
Love the grandness of the second picture!
I painted my bathroom with horizontal B&W stripes. I love it! It is by far my favorite room in my apartment.
Numbers 5 & 6 are mega-Burtonian.
Great choices. I think that Tim Burton really would like all of these. I love 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9.
Pic 1 is insane, totally insane -- and I think I kinda like it! I don't think I could live there, it would warp my sense of balance among other things. But...Wow!
I MUST have that mirror from photo #5. Been obsessed with it since last time you featured it. I even made it my iPhone wallpaper!
#1 literally made me a bit nauseous. Wow.
Love #1. I would love to get dizzy in that room.
#4 looks eerily like the attic in "Frankenweenie."
I did a Tim Burton inspired room for a teenage client once. It' was really fun! You can see it here
I'm late to this post, but #6 would be my dream come true! I could live in that bathroom, everything about it is drool-worthy... well, minus the pink fluffy lamp :P
#2, 5 and 8 are all great too. Thank you so much for posting these!
I just found this after a tim burton google search...I love all the rooms, especially the 5th picture. Looks like I'll be up all night trying to find a similar mirror!
