We work best when the desk is completely cleared off in our home office. We don't like clutter, because it clouds our mind and we can't work efficiently. A good trash can is the key to success in any home office. Once you throw it away, you want to forget about it &mdash at least until trash day.

Flip top trash cans are our personal favorite. We enjoy being able to step on a pedal, it opens the lid, we toss the trash in and then we're done with it. We can literally forget that it's even there because it's now inside of a stainless steel bin.
