Kid Envy: 10 Things Grownups Will Want From Kids' Stores

Kids design has come a long way. So far, in fact, that it's no longer confined to children's rooms. Here are ten items we think can be appreciated by anyone, whether or not there are kids in the picture. And, look, not an owl in sight.

Of course, you'll want to carefully check the measurements of any kids furniture you purchase. Many desks and dressers designed for children's rooms have measurements equivalent to adult furniture. Some are a few inches shorter which may work fine for average or short adults. The Milo table (no. 5 above) is, of course, too small for adults to sit at (comfortably), but don't you think it makes a funky coffee table?
