100 Percent Recycled and Gorgeous: Shiraleah

These dishes have been featured at several Fall House Tours for their simple beauty. Shiraleah, a Spanish Company, makes these affordable and elegant dishes that are made from 100% recycled glass. Why is that important? Because recycling a single glass bottle saves enough energy to run a CFL for 20 hours. Now those are hidden energy savings!

Not only is glass easily recycled and reused for quick energy and resource savings, it is also very durable. With the addition of Shiraleah's affordable prices of $7 - $20 per plate dependent on size, they are a nice investment.

These dishes are for sale by several retailers online and in stores including Bachmans, Moss Envy, and Shiraleah themselves. I recommend checking them out in store so you can mix and match the colors you like and compare how light they are relative to other recycled glass dishware. The downside? These are manufactured in Spain, giving them a high transportation price tag. But if you are looking for nice dishes that are 100% recycled, they are a solid investment that are easy to replace.
