12,000 Internet Radio Stations to Choose From? The Tivoli NetWorks Radio

We've always been fond of the the Tivoli selection of radios. They've always maintained a conservative but stylish presence, partnered with a reputation for warm sound that exceeds expectations upon first glance of their compact housing. Nothing extraneous or fancy about Tivolis, and we like them for it. But they've recently released a new product that has upgraded the guts and features while maintaining their characteristic appearance...

Partnered with a networked PC, the Tivoli NetWorks is able to play broadcasts from internet radio stations, music from a local computer library or via FM/DAB tuning on certain models, with the ability to store up to 200 online radio stations in its memory. The NetWorks, available in Cherry, Walnut or Wenge wood finishes, connects either over Ethernet or over wi-fi, and natively supports MP3 and WMA files, while also taking care of its own updates automatically. The whole system can be expanded with a stereo speaker, CD player, or subwoofer and is controlled with a credit card-sized remote control. All this is really missing is satellite radio access, but we're okay with the thousands of free radio stations available. You'll need all the money you saved anyhow, since these Tivoli NetWork radios start at $599.
