Why I chose these colors for the nursery:
In designing Rowen's room, my wife and I wanted to create a modern yet playful nursery. Because we were going to design everything including the bedding ourselves we started with a hunt for fabric.

We knew we were having a boy and from my sketches that giraffes were going on the wall, so that helped narrowing down the colors. After hours of searching fabric stores in San Diego we came across the hero fabric, 'Dew Drop' by Amy Butler in green and brown. So we built our color scheme around the fabric that we chose for the bedding, the green is the playful and the brown is the hint of modern.

Two Good Color Tips:
1. Don't be afraid to experiment and go against the grain...have fun with it.

2. Look for color inspiration in your everyday surroundings.
