I'm really digging the door look - I may have to steal that idea for my room (which is essentially a child's room except I'm 25, hehe).
Does washi tape not disturb drywall and existing paint when removed? Just curious - never used it before.
Does anyone have suggestions on where to find washi tape in stores? I think it will help me solve a decorating problem of ugly tile in a rented apartment. Thanks!
Rae N, Depending on where you live it can be hard to find. Michael's has a small selection in their stores as should other art-supply or craft-supply stores. But the best venues I've found have been online, especially in Etsy stores selling crafts supplies. Check out this for example: http://www.etsy.com/shop/mieryaw?section_id=12470214.
I really like the hand print and letters. The frame is really clever, too! I made a free flag banner using paint chips for my kids room. http://turningithome.blogspot.com/2012/12/diy-paint-chip-flags.html My daughter loves pointing out the colors of it (although she calls every color "red").
Thanks!
Its stick is a lot like painters tape. Target also sells four packs for $4 in their office supply section.
I recently took to making washi tape wall project for my kids, inspired by a room posted here not long ago. Don't love it as much as I thought I would, but it's staying for now because my son loves the cityscape, trains included. I do love that it comes off clean and easy. Used Target's version, pack of four for like $4 or so.
